Volumental Cloud is the analytics tool that you can use to access customer scan data, and monitor your stores’ scanning performance.

Cloud provides real-time data directly from your scanners to you. The data we store allows you to analyze and download scans, customer information, 3D models, measurements, and size analytics.

Volumental Cloud is a valuable tool for every level of your organization: corporate managers, regional and store managers, retailers, marketing teams, and R&D. Corporate and regional managers can log into Cloud to view scanner performance across all stores. Store managers can monitor their store team’s usage and performance and use the sizing data for inventory and store management. R&D experts can develop better-fitting shoes with a detailed understanding of customers' needs. In fact, you can even create truly individual and customized shoes based on the 3D scan data on Cloud!

Facts you need to know:

  • Cloud Account Verification: To correctly set up your Cloud account, you must complete the steps outlined in the “Cloud Verification” email that is sent to you. Please check your inboxes for this email, click “Finish Account” and complete the steps.
  • "Whitelist" emails from the volumental.com domain: Consider asking your system administrator to whitelist emails from the volumental.com domain. Some corporate networks have very restrictive spam filters that prevent users from receiving important emails.
  • Cloud Data Access: The data that you and your organization are allowed to view and download is determined by your agreement or by corporate headquarters. Please be aware that you may or may not have access to all the Cloud data shown in the example videos.
  • Scanners must be “online” and connected to the internet to be able to upload scan data to the Cloud. “Offline” scanners that are not connected to the internet will not upload scan data to the Cloud. Instead, an “offline” scanner will store scan data in its internal computer and upload the data to Cloud once it is re-connected to the internet again. Depending on how long a scanner is offline, it can take up to 10 minutes for a scanner to finish uploading the backlog of scan data collected while it was offline. Thus, store teams should always check and make sure scanners are online every day.
