Through the settings tab on a scanner's page, you can change the scanner's user interface (UI) and language that appear on the iPad that's connected to the scanner.
* Please Note
- The scanner must be connected to the internet for these changes to occur.
- For Cloud users with Manager-level Cloud access, the ability to change UI and language on scanners is available. Access level is determined by your corporate headquarters. Please be aware that you may or may not have access to all the Cloud data shown in example pictures and videos.
- Not all brands will have the ability to change UI and Language. These are determined in your contract. Please be aware that you may not have this ability even with Manager-level Cloud access.
How do I change the scanner UI?
- Click scanners on the top menu bar.,
- Select an individual scanner from the list of scanners,
- Click the settings tab on the individual scanner's page,
- Select the UI from the drop-down menu, and
- Click save.
How do I change the language?
- Click scanners on the top menu bar,
- Select an individual scanner from the listed scanners,
- Click the settings tab on the individual scanner's page.
- Select the language from the drop-down menu, and
- Click save.
WiFi Access Point
This feature controls whether the Vandra-Hotspot is enabled or disabled on the scanner. By default, this feature is always enabled when you receive the scanner. The Vandra-Hotspot should only be disabled if you've been in contact with the Volumental Support team and agreed on a special network setup. Please submit a ticket here if you have any questions regarding the network setup.
