The Family Profile feature allows you to use the same email address for multiple family members and have distinct profiles for each member under one large account.
To create a family profile, follow the instructions below:
- Fill in the name and email on the scanning home page and a profile box will appear.
- Add the person's name and gender, answer optional questions, and click "Create Profile" at the bottom.
- You can now choose to scan the customer or create another linked profile by clicking the plus sign at the top of the profile box.
- After creating profiles, remember to click "Save Profile" at the bottom.
- To take a scan, select the person's name and click "New Scan" at the bottom.
- Access profiles from the scan page via the drop-down button next to the name.
- If you access a profile without a scan, a pop-up will appear to select a gender and start the scan.
- Once a scan is in place, it will immediately appear when you click the name.
- To edit profiles, click the "Edit" button below the name and toggle between associated profiles.
To manage a family profile, click the cogwheel icon located on the profile box or on the drop down button. Here you can:
- Rescan a customer
- Remove a profile
You can delete any profile under the umbrella except for the currently selected one. To delete the selected profile, exit the page, choose a different name to access their scan, and then return to settings. This will shift the delete option to a different person.
When you enter an existing email on the home page, you can access their profile to view their scan, rescan, or create a new sub-profile. If you are on the wrong profile you can select it and choose another customer from within that family organization. You also can see which profile you are on by checking the name in the upper right corner on the results page.
Why is it important?
- Ability to differentiate where people shop together and share CRM accounts (eg. couples)
- Ability to differentiate customers that don't have an email yet (eg. kids)
- Have multiple profiles and scans tied to one single email
- Customer gets sent all scans to the same email, email template is updated during customization process
- Helps differentiate transactions and therefore generate better recommendations
